DCGNY in the Ring

At the Bronx Kennel Club on Sunday, March 27, 2011, in Edison, NJ, Erins I’m Your Man, owned and bred by Sharon R. Lyons, was awarded Reserve Winners Dog.

On October 17, 2010 at the Ramapo Kennel Club, in August, NJ, “Cole”, Dynasty’s Lights Out, was Winners Dog and Best of Winners for 1 Point. Cole’s brother, “Bentley”, Dynasty’s Wild N Wonderful, was Reserve Winners Dog and “Lita”, Dynasty’s You Better You Bet, was Winners Bitch for one point. Not to be outdone, sister “Emmie”, Ch. Dynasty’s Emerald Wild Fire, was Best of Opposite over the #1 dal in the country! It was a Dynasty kind of day under Judge Mrs. Nancy Hafner.

Cole, Bentley, Lita and Emmie are all bred by member Jackie McIlhenny. Cole and Lita are owned and handled by McIlhenny, while Bentley is owned by member Ginny Bastas.

At the Hatboro Dog Show Friday, October 8, 2010, “O’neil”, Prestige’s Both Sides of  The Story, went Winners Dog under Judge Beverly Capstick for his first point from the Bred By Exhibitor class.  Close behind with a Reserve Winners Dog was litterbrother “Byrne”, Prestige N’ Surfer’s Beach Bum, from the 6-9 month puppy class.  Quite a day for these brown boys.  Way to go Neilly and Byrnie!!!

“O’neil” Prestige’s Both Sides of The Story, took Reserve Winners Dog at the Elmira Kennel Club’s show in Romulus, NY, today under judge Barbara J. Wood. O’neil was bred by Beth Anne Johnson and is owned by Beth Anne Johnson and Jason Rudolph. This six-month-old pup is certainly learning his way around the ring! Congratulations O’neil and Beth.

“Bogie”, Shamrock N Erin’s Here’s Looking at You Kid, was Best Junior in Sweeps at the South Shore Kennel Club on Saturday, September 18, 2010 in Falmouth, MA under Judge Mary M. Rein. Bogie was bred by member Sharon Lyons and Catherine Ann Raver and is owned by member Quinn and her co-owner Raver.

Bogie’s brother, “Sam”, Shamrock N Sparkyanna’s Play it Again Sam, outdid his sibling the following day, Sunday, September 19, 2010, at the Cape Cod Kennel Club at the same show site under Judge Irene V. Fonseca. He not only took Best Junion in Sweeps, but went on to Best in Sweeps. Sam was bred by member Sharon Lyons and Catherine Anna Raver and is owned by member Jackie Quinn and her co-owner Raver. Wonderful wins for a pair of brothers that are just six months old!

At the same show, Reserve Winners Bitch to a four-point major was “Zeva”, Shamrock N Erin’s Lady Luck, under judge Loraine Boutwell.

Members with dogs earning Grand Champion points at the show were Margaret Keenen with “Demi”, Ch. Keenen’s Reflection-N-Time and Jackie Quinn and David and Barbara Garceau with “Sean” Ch. Shamrock N S.Xposur Rocketman.

On  Saturday, September 11, 2010, at our Fall Specialty in North Branch, NJ, at the Somerset Hills Kennel Club under Judge Angela J. Porpora, Shamrock N Erin’s Here’s Looking at You Kid, took Reserve Winners Dog. The following day at Westchester Kennel Club at the same show site, his brother, Shamrock N Sparkyanna’s Play It Again Sam, went Winners Dog for a point under Judge Dr. Bernard E. McGivern, Jr. The brothers were bred by member Sharon Lyons and Catherine Ann Raver and are owned by member Quinn and her co-owner Raver. Way to go Bro’s!

Friday June 4th at the Delaware Valley Supported Entry at the Greater Philadelphia Dog Fanciers Association, Erin N’ Gibson’s Summer Treasure went WB under judge Mrs. Arlene Czech and then Saturday at the Delaware Valley Dalmatian Club Specialty at the Huntington Valley Kennel Club under judge Dr. Wanda V. Spediacci Kona was RWB to the Specialty Major again…..2 years in a row, Kona says when’s it my turn???? NEVER, she likes showing too much to finish…… (but mom is getting tired of running around six times at the shows with two girls) And soon we’ll be running around with the brown boys too…and puppy girl, I think Kona is trying to kill me! Good girl Kona…it will be your turn soon!

Taking Winners Bitch and Best of Winners today at the DCGNY supported entry at Rockland under judge Ms. Carrie Jordan was “Zeva” Shamrock N Erin’s Lady Luck for a four-point major! Zeva is out of Ch. Shamrock N Erin’s Livin Lavida Loca and Erin’s N Shamrock OOH LA LA, owned by Jackie and Mike Quinn. “Moira”, Shamrock N Erin’s Nothin’ Like a Dame, gaited away with Reserve Winners Bitch. Owned by Janet A. Katz and Jackie Quinn, Moira is out of Ch Erin N Shamrock’s Lord O’The Dance and Ch Erin N Shamrock’s Chocolat. Not to have the Shamrock girls outdo him, “Sean”, Ch. Shamrock N. S.Xposur Rocketman, bred by Jackie Quinn and Barb Garceau out of Ch.Shamrock N Erin’s Livin Lavida Loco X Ch. Shamrock N S.Xposur AnnEMae CD and owned by Jackie and Mike Quinn and Barb Garceau was awarded BOS. Finally, “Piper” took Reserve Winners Dog. Piper is owned by Sharon and Bailey Lyons, bred by Holly Herzman-Ward and Sharon Lyons out of Ch. Erin N White Magics The Socerer X Ch. Erin N Mt Views Pretty in Pink. Sunday September 20th Erin N’ Gibson’s Summer Treasure, “Kona” went WB under judge Brenda Newcomb, handled by Beth Johnson to single her out. The following weekend at the Fingerlakes show, Elmira Kennel Club, Sunday September 28th Kona was RWB to the Major under judge Dr. John C. Shelton with Jay doing the handling this time.
