2019 Winning Year for Prestige Kids!

Dublin – GCH Prestige N’ Dynasty’s Right Here Right Now (Upper Left), owned by Jackie McIlhenny & DCGNY member Beth A. Johnson was awarded Select Dog under breeder judge Deidre Rahn at the Bronx Kennel Club Show.

Kodak – Prestige’s Kodak Moment (Upper Middle), owned by DCGNY members Nicole Forbes & Beth A. Johnson, was awarded Winners Dog for a 3 point major from the 9-12 months puppy class at the New Brunswick Kennel Club show Friday March 22.  At the DCCNJ Independent specialty he was awarded Best In Sweeps under breeder judge Shannon Pratt and followed that up Sunday at the Bronx Kennel Club show with Winners Dog, Best of Winners for a 4 point major under breeder judge Deidre Rahn. 

And not to be outdone; their mother Madeline GCH Dakota N’ Prestige’s Take Me Home CGC ROM (Upper Right) was awarded Best of Opposite Sex at the DCCNJ specialty in conjunction with the New Brunswick Kennel Club show under judge Dr. Joyce Dandridge.  Madeline followed that up the next day with an Award Of Merit under breeder judge Deidre Rahn.

Nevis – Prestige’s Somewhere Over the Rainbow (Lower), owned by Jennifer Harkins and DCGNY member Beth A. Johnson, was awarded Winner’s Bitch for a 3 point major from the Bred By class under judge Richard Todd Jackson at the DCCNJ Independent specialty Saturday March 23.  

“Trep” Finishes CH at Specialty — All From Puppy Classes!

This is CH Lotsa Spots The Mighty “I” At Tongwood pictured going WD and BOW for a four-point major at our DCGNY Specialty show held in conjunction with the Longshore/Southport Kennel Club show June 11, 2017 to finish his championship all from the puppy classes.

Intrepid, or “Trep” is named after the Aircraft Carrier Intrepid on which member Bill Postens served while in the Navy.  The carrier was known as The Mighty “I”, hence his AKC name.  We’re very proud of this boy who finished at 11 months an

d three days of age.  Bred by Sue Tong & Kara Swartwood.  Owned by member Dolores A. Postens. Beautifully handled by Lesley Anne Potts.

At the Dalmatian Club of America National Specialty in Fort Mitchell KY “Huey”, Heegee’s Never Satisfied CD, RA CGC earned the third leg of his Rally Advanced to finish his title at the National. Huey is owned by Beth Anne Johnson & Jason Rudolph and bred by member Geri Rosen.
 
Also at the DCA National, “O’neil”, Prestige’s Both Sides of the Story, placed 2nd in his 12-14 months Sweeps class out of any entry of 16 dogs.  O’neil is bred and handled by Beth Anne Johnson and owned by Beth Anne Johnson & Jason Rudolph. 
 
Not far behind was “Byrne”, Prestige N’ Surfer’s Beach Bum bred by Beth Anne Johnson and owned by Beth Anne Johnson & Barrie Essner.  Byrne made the cut in the 12-14 months Sweeps class but ended up just out of the placements.  It was nice for both brothers to be considered.  Byrne was handled in his sweeps class by Cherie Bartell.
 
At the Kennel Club of Northern New Jersey show in Freehold, NJ, Memorial Day weekend, “O’neil”, Prestige’s Both Sides of the Story was awarded WD for 2 points from the Bred By class under judge Shirley Limoges. 
 
Sunday June 5, 2011 at the Burlington County Kennel Club, Delaware Valley Supported entry under judge Marjorie Underwood, “Kona”, CH Erin N’ Gibson’s Summer Treasure CGC owned & handled by Beth Anne Johnson was Select Bitch for her first major towards her Grand Championship.   
 
Friday June 10th,2011 Byrne, Prestige N’ Surfer’s Beach Bum went WD for another point under judge Peggy Haas from the Bred By Exhibitor class.  Byrne is bred, owned and handled by Beth and co-owned with Barrie Essner.

“Sunny” McDottie’s Lotsa Spots Irish Sun, won his first point at the Wyoming Valley Kennel Club, Alexander, NY on Sunday, May 22, 2011 under Judge Everett Dean. Sunny is owned by Dolores Postens and was handled by Leslie Potts.

Darcy & Jane — BOB and BOS!!!

New member Sean McCaughley made his first appearance in Non-Sporting Group competition on Sunday, May 22, 2011 in Old Bethpage, Long Island at the Long Island Kennel Club. Erin’s Prionsa of of Tiffany, “Darcy”, was Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best of Breed! “Jane”, Sparkyanna’s Riona of Tiffany, was Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite. The judge was Sue Weis. Sean owns both Darcy and Jane and handled both of them, with only assistance in breed when a second pair of hands was necessary. While it was a thrilling day for Sean, Jane and Darcy seemed far more interested in the bait. Congratulations!

Dyson Does It Back To Back!

Member Peggy Rogan finished her first Bred By Exhibitor Champion, “Dyson”, LuvMy Erin’s Charming Gentleman, with back-to-back majors Mothers’ Day weekend at Bucks County and Trenton Kennel Clubs. On Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Bucks County Kennel Club in Erwinna, PA, under Judge Dennis McCoy Dyson went Winners Dog, Best of Winners for a crossover three-point major. The next day at Trenton Kennel Club he took Winners Dog for another major to finish under Judge Inge Semenschin.

Dyson finished with three majors (one a Specialty major). “I cannot be more proud of and thankful to this little dog and my friends that enabled this to become a reality!” said Peggy. Dyson was bred by Peggy Rogan and Sharon R. Lyons and is co-owned by Peggy with Janet A. Katz, where this happy-go-lucky nut lives when he’s not working on showing at Peggy’s.

Cole Finishes with a Four-Point Major!

On Friday, February 25, 2011, at the Walkill Kennel Club in Rockland, “Cole”, Dynasty’s Lights Out, went Winners Dog, Best of Winners for two points under Judge Toby Frisch. This put him at 14 points. The following day at the Rockland Kennel Club under Breeder Judge Judy English Murray, Cole was once again Winners Dog, Best of Winners, this time for a four-point major to finish! Cole finished his championship with three majors while still under the age of two! Cole is Champion #12 at Dynasty. He was bred by and is owned by Jacquiline McIlheeny.

Dynasty Dogs have their Day at Ramapo!

On October 17, 2010 at the Ramapo Kennel Club, in August, NJ, “Cole”, Dynasty’s Lights Out, was Winners Dog and Best of Winners for 1 Point. Cole’s brother, “Bentley”, Dynasty’s Wild N Wonderful, was Reserve Winners Dog and “Lita”, Dynasty’s You Better You Bet, was Winners Bitch for one point. Not to be outdone, sister “Emmie”, Ch. Dynasty’s Emerald Wild Fire, was Best of Opposite over the #1 dal in the country! It was a Dynasty kind of day under Judge Mrs. Nancy Hafner.

Cole, Bentley, Lita and Emmie are all bred by member Jackie McIlhenny. Cole and Lita are owned and handled by McIlhenny, while Bentley is owned by member Ginny Bastas.

“Bentley”  Dynasty’s Wild N Wonderful  was Winners Dog on Friday, October 9, 2010 at the Devon Dog Show Association in Ludwigs Corner, PA, under Judge Mrs. Dawn Hansen. It was one point, which gives him a total of 12 points with just three to go. Bentley is owned by new member Ginny Bastas and was bred by member Jackie McIlhenny. Yeah, Bentley!
