Brown Brothers Pack a One, Two Punch!

At the Hatboro Dog Show Friday, October 8, 2010, “O’neil”, Prestige’s Both Sides of  The Story, went Winners Dog under Judge Beverly Capstick for his first point from the Bred By Exhibitor class.  Close behind with a Reserve Winners Dog was litterbrother “Byrne”, Prestige N’ Surfer’s Beach Bum, from the 6-9 month puppy class.  Quite a day for these brown boys.  Way to go Neilly and Byrnie!!!

Dyson “Charms” at Supported Entry

Yesterday, October 8, 2010, at the Dalmatian Club of Central New Jersey’s supported entry at the Morris & Essex Kennel Club’s show in Somerset LuvMy Erin’s Charming Gentleman, “Dyson”, charmed both the sweeps and regular class judges. He started with Best in Sweeps under Judge Luis F. Sosa, then went on to take home two more points out of the Bred By Exhibitor class with Winners Dog and the crossover Best of Winners under Judge Helen Lee James. This charmer was bred by members Peggy Rogan and Sharon Lyons and is co-owned with Peggy by Janet A. Katz.

New Champion at Lotsa Spots!

Today in Romulus, NY, at the Onondaga Kennel Club under judge Robert Enis, “Leah” Lotsa Spots Savoir-Vivre, went Winners Bitch   and Best of Winners to finish with three majors! Leah was handled by Lesley Anne Potts who is as proud of her as members Dolores and Bill Postens who bred and own Leah. Way to go girls!!!

“O’neil” Prestige’s Both Sides of The Story, took Reserve Winners Dog at the Elmira Kennel Club’s show in Romulus, NY, today under judge Barbara J. Wood. O’neil was bred by Beth Anne Johnson and is owned by Beth Anne Johnson and Jason Rudolph. This six-month-old pup is certainly learning his way around the ring! Congratulations O’neil and Beth.

No Whining in Wine Country for Leah!

The downpour didn’t dampen Leah’s spirits as she took Winners Bitch for her second three-point major in Romulus, NY, today. The judge was Barbara J. Wood at the Elmira Kennel Club’s Thursday show to kick off the Wine Country Circuit. Leah is Lotsa Spots Savoir-Vivre is owned by and was bred by member Dolores Postens of Lotsa Spots Dalmatians, and is handled by Lesley Anne Potts. Only two points to go! Yes for you Leah!

Second Major for Two Dynasty Dalmatians!

“Lita”, Dynasty’s You Better You Bet, went Winners Bitch for a three-point major, her second, at the Berks County Kennel Club on Sunday, September 19, 2010, under Judge JoAnne R. Schullier. This was a Delaware Valley Dalmatian Club Supported Entry. Lita was bred by and is owned and shown by member Jackie McIlhenny.

“Bentley”, Dynasty’s Wild N Wonderful, went Winners Dog for a three-point major, his second, at the same show. Bentley was bred by member Jackie McIlhenny and is owned by Ginny Bastas, who has applied for membership in DCGNY.

Lita only needs five more points, while Bentley needs four singles. Nice wins for both dogs!

“Bogie”, Shamrock N Erin’s Here’s Looking at You Kid, was Best Junior in Sweeps at the South Shore Kennel Club on Saturday, September 18, 2010 in Falmouth, MA under Judge Mary M. Rein. Bogie was bred by member Sharon Lyons and Catherine Ann Raver and is owned by member Quinn and her co-owner Raver.

Bogie’s brother, “Sam”, Shamrock N Sparkyanna’s Play it Again Sam, outdid his sibling the following day, Sunday, September 19, 2010, at the Cape Cod Kennel Club at the same show site under Judge Irene V. Fonseca. He not only took Best Junion in Sweeps, but went on to Best in Sweeps. Sam was bred by member Sharon Lyons and Catherine Anna Raver and is owned by member Jackie Quinn and her co-owner Raver. Wonderful wins for a pair of brothers that are just six months old!

At the same show, Reserve Winners Bitch to a four-point major was “Zeva”, Shamrock N Erin’s Lady Luck, under judge Loraine Boutwell.

Members with dogs earning Grand Champion points at the show were Margaret Keenen with “Demi”, Ch. Keenen’s Reflection-N-Time and Jackie Quinn and David and Barbara Garceau with “Sean” Ch. Shamrock N S.Xposur Rocketman.

Sam Plays it Again!

At the Dalmatian Club of Southern New England’s (DCSNE) on Friday, September 17, 2010 in Falmouth, MA, with the South Shore Kennel Club, “Sam”, Shamrock N Sparkyanna’s Play it Again Sam, was awarded Winners Dog, Best Puppy and a Puppy Group 2 for a four-point Specialty Major under Judge Robert “Bruce” Smith. Sam was bred by member Sharon Lyons and Catherine Anna Raver and is owned by member Jackie Quinn and her co-owner Raver.

Very nice Specialty win for Sam’s first major. Congratulations!

BISS AJ’s Owners Not Back to Earth Any Time Soon!

“AJ”, Ch. S. Xposur N Dynasty’s Chasin Neon Rainbows CD RN, not only was Best of Breed at the Dalmatian Club of Southern New England’s (DCSNE) specialty, but he went on to a Group 4! The DCSNE Specialty was held on Friday, September 17, 2010 in Falmouth, MA, at the South Shore Kennel Club. The judge was Mr. Robert “Bruce” Smith. Defeating 56 dogs, among them a top special, AJ’s Non Sporting Group 4 placement was under judge Dr. Wanda  V. Spediacci.

AJ was bred by and is owned by members Barbara and David Garceau and Jackie Quinn. Enjoy your Specialty win and group placement guys! Woohoo!

Man in the Mirror Likes What He Sees & AJ is BOS!

Going Winners Dog and Best of Winners in Falmouth, MA, at the Cape Cod Kennel Club show on Thursday, September 16, 2010, for a four-point major was Keenen’s Man in the Mirror, bred and owned by member Margaret Keenen. Nice win!

At the same show, “AJ”, Ch. S.Xposur N Dynastys Chasin Neon Rainbows CD RN took Best of Opposite Sex. AJ was bred by and is owned by members Barbara and David Garceau and Jackie Quinn. AJ had fun being back in the ring and was very good for his mom, Barbara.
