DCGNY in the Ring

Member Peggy Rogan finished her first Bred By Exhibitor Champion, “Dyson”, LuvMy Erin’s Charming Gentleman, with back-to-back majors Mothers’ Day weekend at Bucks County and Trenton Kennel Clubs. On Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Bucks County Kennel Club in Erwinna, PA, under Judge Dennis McCoy Dyson went Winners Dog, Best of Winners for a crossover three-point major. The next day at Trenton Kennel Club he took Winners Dog for another major to finish under Judge Inge Semenschin.

Dyson finished with three majors (one a Specialty major). “I cannot be more proud of and thankful to this little dog and my friends that enabled this to become a reality!” said Peggy. Dyson was bred by Peggy Rogan and Sharon R. Lyons and is co-owned by Peggy with Janet A. Katz, where this happy-go-lucky nut lives when he’s not working on showing at Peggy’s.

“Lita”, Dynasty’s You Better You Bet, went Winners Bitch for a three-point major, her second, at the Berks County Kennel Club on Sunday, September 19, 2010, under Judge JoAnne R. Schullier. This was a Delaware Valley Dalmatian Club Supported Entry. Lita was bred by and is owned and shown by member Jackie McIlhenny.

“Bentley”, Dynasty’s Wild N Wonderful, went Winners Dog for a three-point major, his second, at the same show. Bentley was bred by member Jackie McIlhenny and is owned by Ginny Bastas, who has applied for membership in DCGNY.

Lita only needs five more points, while Bentley needs four singles. Nice wins for both dogs!

At the Dalmatian Club of Southern New England’s (DCSNE) on Friday, September 17, 2010 in Falmouth, MA, with the South Shore Kennel Club, “Sam”, Shamrock N Sparkyanna’s Play it Again Sam, was awarded Winners Dog, Best Puppy and a Puppy Group 2 for a four-point Specialty Major under Judge Robert “Bruce” Smith. Sam was bred by member Sharon Lyons and Catherine Anna Raver and is owned by member Jackie Quinn and her co-owner Raver.

Very nice Specialty win for Sam’s first major. Congratulations!

Going Winners Dog and Best of Winners in Falmouth, MA, at the Cape Cod Kennel Club show on Thursday, September 16, 2010, for a four-point major was Keenen’s Man in the Mirror, bred and owned by member Margaret Keenen. Nice win!

At the same show, “AJ”, Ch. S.Xposur N Dynastys Chasin Neon Rainbows CD RN took Best of Opposite Sex. AJ was bred by and is owned by members Barbara and David Garceau and Jackie Quinn. AJ had fun being back in the ring and was very good for his mom, Barbara.

Shamrock N Erin’s Lady Luck, “Zeva”, went Winners Bitch and Best Of Winners at the Dalmatian Club of the Piedmont specialty on Saturday, July 31, in Greenville, SC for a  5-Point Major.  The judge was California Breeder Judge, Mrs. Marilyn Dromgoole.  Both of Zeva’s majors have been under California breeder judges (Ms. Carrie Jordan in February and Mrs. Dromgoole last Saturday).  Zeva was bred and is owned by Jackie and Mike Quinn. One point to go!!!!

Ch XTerra N RK’s Night Moves completed her championship on April 10, 2010 at the Troy KC all-bred show under Ms. Janet Allen. “Seger” is bred, owned, conditioned, loved and handled by Kathy Barber and Kris Kelso.

Ch RK’s N XTerra’s Joie de Vivre completed her championship on May 22, 2010 at the Dalmatian Club of Greater Washington Specialty show under breeder judge Ms. Linda Lewin. “Nicole” is bred, owned, conditioned, loved and handled by Kris Kelso and Kathy Barber. Nicole finished with all points earned from the bred-by class. On 5/23/2010 Nicole earned her first Grand Champion points for a major win.

More news!  Today at the Trenton Kennel Club show, “Leah” Lotsa Spots Savoir-Vivre went WB, BOW and BOS over a specials bitch for her first MAJOR under judge Ann Schwartz, again handled by Lesley Anne Potts. Owned by Dolores Postens of Lotsa Sports Dalmatians, who is so proud of her!

View N Erin’s Going Regimental earned WD and BOW to take a four-point, crossover major at the DCGNY supported entry at Rockland Kennel Club yesterday, Sunday February 28, 2010. Bred by DCGNY members Sharon Lyons and Holly Herzman Ward out of Ch. Erin N White Magics The Socerer X Ch. Erin N Mt Views Pretty in Pink, Piper is owned by Sharon and Bailey Lyons.  Winners Bitch for a four-point major was Kathy Barber and Kris Kelso’s Xterra’s N RK’s Night Moves, bred and owned by Barber/Kelso out of Ch. Rk’s N Xterra’s Makin Whoopee X Ch. Xterra N Erins Moonlight Sonata, shown by Barber. BOS went to “Sean”,  Ch. Shamrock N. In Sweeps, Jackie Quinn’s “Zeva” Shamrock N Erin’s Lady Luck went Best in Sweeps under judge Cindy Riggins. Bred and owned by Jackie and Mike Quinn, Zeva is out of Ch. Shamrock N Erin’s Livin Lavida Loco X Erin’s N Shamrock OOH LA LA.

Owned by Janet A. Katz and Jackie Quinn, Moira is out of Ch Erin N Shamrock’s Lord O’The Dance and Ch Erin N Shamrock’s Chocolat. Not to have the Shamrock girls outdo him, “Sean”, Ch. Shamrock N. CH Lotsa Spots Forever Rock N Roll

 “Elvis”, now CH Lotsa Spots Forever Rock N Roll, finished with a five-point major at the Southern New England Specialty on September 12, 2009 under Joe C. Walton at the South Shore Kennel Club in Falmouth, MA. Elvis was bred by Dolores A. Postens and Marc R. Tollen and is owned by Dolores. Look for puppies sired by Elvis on or about December 1, 2009. The dam is Lotsa Spots Savoir-Vivre “Leah”, who will be returning to the ring after she bounces back from her upcoming litter.
