DCGNY in the Ring

On Monday, September 6, 2010 at the Schooleys Mountain Kennel Club under Judge Sari Brewster Tietjen, Dynasty’s Lights Out, “Cole”, was Winners Dog and Best of Winners for one point. Dynasty’s You Better You Bet, “Lita”, earned one point taking Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite.

On Saturday, September 11, 2010, at the DCGNY fall specialty held in North Branch, NJ, at the Somerset Hills Kennel Club, Ch. Dynasty’s I’m One, “TJ”, was select dog for a four-point major toward his Grand Championship. This was TJ’s first time being shown since the Grand Championship title was offered.

Cole, Lita and Dynasty were all bred and are owned and handled by member Jackie McIlhenny. Congratulations!

Shamrock N Erin’s Lady Luck, “Zeva”, went Winners Bitch and Best Of Winners at the Dalmatian Club of the Piedmont specialty on Saturday, July 31, in Greenville, SC for a  5-Point Major.  The judge was California Breeder Judge, Mrs. Marilyn Dromgoole.  Both of Zeva’s majors have been under California breeder judges (Ms. Carrie Jordan in February and Mrs. Dromgoole last Saturday).  Zeva was bred and is owned by Jackie and Mike Quinn. One point to go!!!!

Bryne sails through SCKC Match with Puppy BOB and Group 1 Non-Sporting Puppy

On Sunday June 13, 2010 at the Dalmatian Club of Central New Jersey’s Specialty Match, Prestige N’ Surfer’s Beach Bum (Ch Mt. Bryton’s Covert Operatvie X Erin N’ Gibson’s Summer Treasure CGC), “Byrne” won Best In Match under breeder judge Peggy Rogan over a very large entry of 15 dals. Byrne is owned by Beth Anne Johnson and co-owned with Barrie Essner. He also placed well in his sweeps class under breeder judge Alice Milwid. Many thanks to the judges for noticing this pretty boy in some tough competition.

Sunday August 1, 2010 at the AKC’s Canine Experience in Kings Park Long Island match hosted by the Suffolk County Kennel Club, Byrne went Best of Breed Puppy and then went on to a Group 1 Non-Sporting Puppy in a tough group. Nothing in Best in Match, both puppy and mom were burnt out from the day and just had fun.

On July 11, 2010 at the Lower Camden Agility Trial in Hatfield, PA, under judge Janet Budzinski, “TJ”, Dynasty’s I’m One, took first place in Jumpers With Weaves for his first Q. TJ is owned by Jackie McIlhenny. Way to go TJ and Jackie!

Leah (Lotsa Spots Savoir-Vivre) did it again, taking Winners Bitch for another point at Shawangunk Kennel Club in New Paltz, NY, on Friday, June 25, 2010. This gives her 8 points including her first major. The judge was Roland Pelland and Leah was handled by Lesley Anne Potts. Congratulations Leah!

On Sunday, June 20, 2010, at the Bryn Mawr Kennel Club in Ludwigs Corner, Pennsylvania, under judge Mrs. Doris Cozart, “Leah” (Lotsa Spots Savoir-Vivre) went WB and BOW for another point. She now has 7 points, including her first major. Leah was bred and is owned by Dolores Postens, handled by Lesley Anne Potts. She and husband Bill are very, very proud of their girl!

Ms. Moira Katz is very pleased to announce that she finished her championship in Yorktown Heights, NY, yesterday at the Longshore-Southport Kennel Club under judge Joe Walton taking Winners Bitch. She enjoyed skirt steak for dinner. Finished with three majors, Ms. Moira, Shamrock N Erin’s Nothin’ Like a Dame by Ch Erin N Shamrock’s Lord O’The Dance – Ch Erin N Shamrock’s Chocolat, is owned by Janet A. Katz and Jackie Quinn. She is looking forward to training her owner in both obedience and agility. Yeah, Moi-Moi!

At the Union County Kennel Club in Freehold, NJ, on May 31, 2010, “Zeva”, Shamrock N Erin’s Lady Luck took Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite under judge Rick Weyrich. Zeva is out of Ch. Shamrock N Erin’s Livin Lavida Loca and Erin’s N Shamrock OOH LA LA, owned by Jackie and Mike Quinn. Nice Memorial Day Zeva  and Jackie!

Sean, Ch. Shamrock N. S.Xposur Rocketman, has continued to perform as a special in the breed ring. This included winning the breed at our Specialty weekend in March. Sean took the breed under Judge Elizabeth Murthard on Sunday, March 28 at the Bronx County Kennel Club in Edison. Sean was bred by Jackie Quinn and Barb and Dave Garceau, owned by Jackie Quinn and Barb Garceau and is out of Ch. Shamrock N. Erins Livin Lavida Loca “Ricky” X Ch. Shamrock N.S.X.posur AnnEMae “T.T.”

Ch XTerra N RK’s Night Moves completed her championship on April 10, 2010 at the Troy KC all-bred show under Ms. Janet Allen. “Seger” is bred, owned, conditioned, loved and handled by Kathy Barber and Kris Kelso.

Ch RK’s N XTerra’s Joie de Vivre completed her championship on May 22, 2010 at the Dalmatian Club of Greater Washington Specialty show under breeder judge Ms. Linda Lewin. “Nicole” is bred, owned, conditioned, loved and handled by Kris Kelso and Kathy Barber. Nicole finished with all points earned from the bred-by class. On 5/23/2010 Nicole earned her first Grand Champion points for a major win.
